MTB Enduro Super Series – Race 2, 17^th April 2012

First outing for the 2012 Taylor Cycles Rocky Mountain QLD Team at the MTB Enduro Super Series Race 2 had some great results! It was an absolute mud fest in the end but it was good to see everyone making it
though the 4-Hour event unscathed. Standout performance was Jay and Craig’s 2^nd place in the two man team and all the two man team’s finishing in the top 10. Well done also to Kevin Jones for his 5^th placing in the Solo 40+ and for the Peacock brothers for cranking it around the track solo for the full 4hours.

INTRODUCING THE TAYLOR CYCLES 2012 ROCKY MOUNTAIN QLD TEAM -  With the boys having been sized up by one of our major sponsors, Triple Play, we are eager to display our new kit at our first official race on the 15th April, the MTB Enduro Super Series Race 2. 13/11/11 Taylor Cycles Road Team enjoyed an excellent race debut, securing a 1st place win in their 1st ever race! Jay Taylor took out B grade at the Murrarrie crit on Saturday with the help of lead out man Jason Blackmore. Taylor Cycles would also like to welcome and introduce Barry Peacock, our Taylor Cycles Road Team manager.

07/11/11 Congratulations to Matt King for placing 3rd in Elite and Hayden Poptie 2nd in Juniors at the 4hr Downhill Enduro last weekend. Great work representing the Taylor Cycles downhill team! Hayden Poptie also placed 2nd in Juniors at the QLD DH State Champs.

18/09/2011 The Taylor Cycles team had a great day out at the 4 hour XC in Adare. Congratulations to Craig Northway for placing an impressive 3rd in the Solo Men's category - absolutely ripping it on his Rocky Mountain Element. Thanks to Rocky Mountain!

19/08/2011 Go Team! Great overall XCO results from the Taylor Cycles team- The last XCO round held last weekend rounded off a great series and saw some good results on the overall standings! Congratulations to our Taylor Cycles riders on their overall results- Jay Taylor and Craig Northway placing 5th and 7th respectively in Elite Men's, Jason Blackmore also 5th in Veteran's, Cameron Siebenhausen 3rd in Masters, and Jeremy Chan 4th in Expert. The last round itself produced some interesting results on the gruelling track, with the whole Taylor Cycles team representing well. See full race round and overall results here.

10/08/2011 KWT SUNSHINE SERIES XCO ROUND 4- Taylor Cyles' cross country team will be at the 4th and final XCO round of this year's KWT Sunshine Series, this Sunday August the 14th. Held at Tyamolum Scout Camp in Mt Crosby, the new track incorporates three creek crossings and is about 4kms long. Following a great performance by the Taylor Cycles team at the last round earlier this month, we're looking forward to another fun day of cross country racing!

08/08/2011 Congratulations to Taylor Cycles Elite rider Craig Northway for finishing a very impressive 7th place in the Epic on Sunday. Craig finished up with a speedy time of 4:20:38.

08/08/2011 And another congratulations to Taylor Cycles' staff member Cassie Dodd, who after just moving up to A-grade road racing has secured two podium finishes! Cassie placed 2nd last week at the Charles Coin Memorial race, and 2nd again on the weekend at Cunningham Classic - both great achievements from a young rider we are sure to see more of!

17/07/2011  A great day today for the Taylor Cycles XC team at the Sunshine series XC Round 3, Samford, where the track ended up a lot drier than most would have expected. A very challenging track with four steep hard climbs and a nice downhill section.Team Results:
Elite: Jay - 4th, Craig- 6th. Vets: Blackie - 6th. Jared - 10th. Expert: Jezza - 6th. Masters: Cam - 3rd
