Having worked in Brisbane as a bike mechanic since 1995, Jay has developed a high standard for bike servicing, taking no shortcuts and really giving your bike the attention it deserves. • Basic Service $60
  • Includes checking all nuts and bolts, adjusting brakes, front and rear gear tune, basic wheel true's, suspension and tyre pressure checks, and cable and chain lubrication.

• Service and Degrease $80
  • All of the above plus full degrease of chain and sprockets and full bike wash, finished off with special frame polish which protects paint from UV and repels dust and dirt!

• Full Service/ Complete Rebuild  $200
  • All of the above plus full strip and regrease of headset, service and regrease bottom bracket, rebuild and grease hubs, full strip and rebuild on parts.

• Race Prep $25
  • Make sure your bike is running spot on before your big ride or race! For both mountain bike and road racing, we'll give your brakes, gears, and all nuts & bolts a once-over, check your suspension and tyre pressure, and make sure everything's set up right for you. Our mechanics are experienced racers themselves, so they know what they're doing!

Using Custom Laser System (CLS) technology, a Taylor Cycles bike fit can make all the difference to your riding ability, comfort, and racing performance.  A bike fit adjusts the bike to suit your physical dimensions, your riding style and your flexibility. Bicycle Maintenance Courses at Taylor Cycles workshop, Chapel Hill

From time to time head mechanic Jay Taylor will hold bicycle maintenance courses in the Taylor Cycles workshop. These range from demonstrations of basic to more advanced skills and are open to all Taylor Cycles customers via booking.
