PROLOGO Zero Ti 1.4 Saddle

Like the Prologo Zero Nack, the Zero 1.4 Ti Saddle saddle is a totally flat model, with as little crown to the surface as possible. There is still a detent to relieve perineal pressure, but otherwise you're getting a design meant to maximize the connection between you and the bike. This is especially advantageous to riders who feel they're most powerful when seated, and who push back against the saddle for leg drive during their hardest efforts.
There are trade-offs: a completely flat saddle can lead to hot spots, and it's the Prologo philosophy that flat saddles are for riders who move around in the cockpit, sliding fore and aft regularly, standing for climbs, tucking back for aero descents, and in general, un-weighting their posteriors with regularity. If this doesn't describe your riding style you might instead consider a more crown-prominent design, such as the Prologo Nago Evo Ti Solid.
If you prefer something less forgiving, but with extremely efficient power transfer, then you'll want to opt for this Zero 1.4 Ti, which has a far stiffer frame and the aforementioned, fully flat profile.
This Zero gets titanium rails with a nickel coating for extra durability that resists micro-scratches from the bite of seatpost clamps. For especially powerful riders or those who want maximum life from their purchase, these slightly heavier rails are a wise choice. If you're a featherweight gram-counter there is always the equivalent-model Zero Nack, which gets carbon rails.
The Prologo Zero Ti 1.4 Saddle is 134mm wide when measured width-wise across the seat and is available in a White/black or Black/white color scheme.
