PROLOGO Nago Evo TRI40 Saddle

There are lighter saddles for triathletes. But there are few that are as multi-featured, or as targeted at comfort, since comfort is what Prologo was after when it pioneered saddles like the Nago Evo TRI40 Ti Solid. The goal was simply to make the forward portion of the TRI40 line as comfortable as it could possibly be.
Prologo achieves this the same way a carbon fiber bike frame is laid up, with more material in some zones than others. In the case of the Nago Evo TRI40 Ti Solid Prologo uses a multi-density carbon fiber frame that has decent flex in the forward zone, exactly where a lot of TT/triathlete riders find themselves sitting throughout an event. Prologo then adds forgiving cushioning to this area that has just enough give to treat your tailbone gently. Then, back at the rear of the saddle, where you'd ride when you're not as much on the rivet, Prologo uses a more supportive foam and the carbon frame is stiffer for excellent power transfer.
Prologo also endows the Nago Evo TRI40 Ti Solid with titanium rails. While the Nack version with carbon rails is lighter, stronger or larger riders, or those particularly seeking durability, will like the added peace of mind of metallic rails.
There is also another important element to consider, which is that Prologo also makes a version of this saddle with Slide Control, which are ridges grooved into the forward portion of the shell. That model, the Nago Evo TRI40 TS Slide Control, is for riders who expend extra energy trying to maintain a stable position while pedaling on the saddle nose. If this isn't you then the Nago Evo TRI40 Ti Solid is likely more apt.
The Prologo Nago Evo TRI40 Ti Solid comes in a 135mm width when measured across the widest portion and is available in either Black/black or White/black color combinations.
