PROLOGO Kappa PAS Saddle

Many riders don't suffer from numbness in their nether regions. But if you're sensitive to the constant pressure of riding, the Prologo Kappa PAS is worthy of consideration. The cutout is specifically designed to relieve perineal pressure that can cause numbness, and the relatively wide, 142mm width gives you enough room to move around and be comfortable, versus a narrower saddle that's going to have you "locked" into a single sweet spot.
Speaking of which, the Kappa PAS is a semi-flat model. Prologo recommends this shape for riders who are neither always seated nor always shifting around, so it's ideal for riders who sometimes stand to climb, but not always. If you're especially active in the saddle you may want to step up to the Zero PAS Gel Ti 1.4, which features a flatter shape for superior power transfer when seated. Of course the Zero PAS Gel Ti 1.4 is also lighter, with a carbon fiber frame, vs. the nylon frame of the Kappa PAS, though both designs get the same cutout shape at the center of the saddle.
A caveat: If you have especially narrow hips you may want a saddle that's narrower than this, and Prologo does make designs as minimal as 126mm wide.
The Prologo Kappa PAS saddle measures 142mm wide across the back, and is available in a White/white color combination.
